Hi Everyone,
Myself and Drua had a fantastic month and enjoyed the various gigs and shows. First off we played in Abbeyleix, Laois as part of Abbeyfest festival. The craic was mighty and the weather was great for the outdoors stage. What a brilliant buzz over the festival weekend. We would like to thank the organisers Ross and Brendan for inviting us back to play at the festival this year.
Then we had a mighty night in Kinnitty Castle, Offaly before heading to Athy Arts Centre, Co.Kildare. A special thanks to Robert Chanders for opening the show in Athy and to the Athy Arts Centre for their work. It's a really lovely venue to play in and we had a great night there.
Last weekend we were performing in Christchurch Cathedral Waterford. This was a great venue with lovely acoustics and we look forward to performing there again.
We were featured in the latest edition of the Arts and Cuture Magazine. Thanks so much for putting in a lovely piece about myself and Drua. Be sure to pick up a copy if you haven't already! Thanks to the Kildare post and Kildare Tribune for their articles and to Midlands Radio Three, 103.5FM for their support with our music.
We have some new clips coming shortly on the band page so be sure to pop over and have a listen. There are also a few things in the pipeline - excited : )
Cheers. Emer x
